The general hotel cancellation rules of the Austrian hotel industry AGBH edition 2006 apply:

up to 3 months before date of arrival: no cancellation fees

3 months to 1 month: 40%

1 month to 1 week:    70%

in the last week:        90%       

For the "worst case scenario" regardless of which provider you choose, we strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation and interruption insurance.
